    Hi all,

I'm wondering if there exists a cord that you can use to connect your laptop's S-Video to your TV's audio in/video in plugs. My tv doesn't have S-video, so I was wondering if that was possible.

Itd be great if someone could find me a link to a retailer who sells something like this also. i havent been able to find anything.

    Thanks!

    Hi Brian,

Thanks, that helps me a lot. I'm glad to know there's cables out there that could potentiall help me. However, I see that the RCA plug you show has three plugs (yellow, white, red) and my TV only has two =(

It has one that says Audio In and one that says Video In, and thats it. Do you know if the S-Video to RCA plug you showed me would work still? Or do you think I may need a different plug?

    Thanks!

All that means Is that you will only get mono sound. I can't remember which colours are which but I think Its:-

    Yellow - Video
    White - Left (Mono)
    Red - Right

Just plug in the yellow & white cables and you should be good to go.

Another option which Is easier Is to get a phono to scart adaptor and plug the 3 leads into that and then plug that into a scart socket on your tv/video/dvd/satellite or whatever.
