    Hi everyone,

I made a VM image of one of my computers hard drives, and want to run that on another computer via VM. I dont have enough space on the PC I want to run the image off of, so currently I have the image on a WD 300gb external hard drive running off the USB 3.0. The speed is very good, not much different than running of my regular hard drive. The issue is I cant really move without taking the chance of loosing the connection because of wire flex. So my though was to use an SD card that fits inside the computer. I was looking at a 64gb 45mb/s read/write card.

What do you all think? will the SD card perform at the same speed as the WD external HD?

    Thanks
