There was a card in this slot on my Vista Laptop. Since it went missing, I am no longer able to connect to Free WiFi. Is there a correlation? If not, what could have caused my WiFi catcher to stop working even when it is turned on.

Unless it was an ExpressCard wireless adapter and your notebook doesn't have integrated WiFi, then I don't see how that would be relevant.

What type of computer? That should help us narrow things down.

    Some ideas:
If you have a wifi switch, make sure it's on
    Restart your wifi router
    Restart your cable modem

Those usually are the big three.

Yes! If it's a "wifi" card?
