Would this card make any noticeable difference in performance of this camera over say this card?

Why not get a couple of these ones instead?

But the question I was asking was...
I wanted to know if buying a faster card would make the camera take pictures faster then if I had the other card. -

No.. taking pictures would take the same time no matter what card you use. Only the time it takes you to save the pictures will be affected.

With a higher write speed, you camera will be able to record the pictures you take to the card faster. Depending on your camera, this means that after you snap the picture, the slight delay (when the screen is black) will be reduced. Note that some cameras are different and write to the card while you are preparing for the next shot. -

Absolutly unless there's a hardware limit to how fast the card reader in the camera can write data.
If you're taking a 9 megapixle picture, the 8gb microsd card will be able to save that picture in about half 1/4 of a second while the sandisk 8GB one might be able to save the image in 1/10 of a second. The difference is there, but you might not be able to notice it. -
i got a bog standard sandisk 512mb card with my fugifilm f40 and upgraded to a 4gb sandisk extreme III which made everything about the cam faster. startup, shot to shot, saving, deleting, transfer, everything improved. well worth getting a higher speed card. only a couple of quid more too.

It doesnt make ur camera take pictures faster. A faster card just reads faster when ur copying to ur computer or w/e.
Ive got a nikon d90 with all sorts of cards
Lol...Card speeds do not have any effect on how fast ur camera takes pictures... Ur camera takes the photo and it doesnt matter if it takes 2 years to write to the card, the camera is going to take another picture before it even writes to the card. Now if you think taking a picture and then seeing it on ur lcd screen "is called taking a picture" then yes, it will make it faster to get to the lcd, but it does not effect how quickly ur camera can take a photo.
.....
SD card speed?
