Which is better? the sf-19 looks cool and has an rpm of 2600 with two 140mm fans?

would that perform better than the modded notepal u3 cooler?

I had to make your very same choice long ago,and it took me some time before placing the order for either one, I'll just tell you this:
don't let you be misled too much by the appeal of the SF19. The design, the leds, the usb ports and the big fans really makes it cool, the leds at the corners warm my heart, but this makes it really bulkier and a less-likely choice to carry along. Also don't understimate the U3 in terms of pleasing the eyes, it (the gray aluminium version expecially) looks better in real than it seems in the images you can find on internet

idc about looks. just performance. i use my laptop as a desktop replacement. i just dont want to own a laptop and desktop. its nice to be able to pick a computer and bring it to a hotel if you have to travel for a few days. does the sf19 have strong powerful fans? could it blast a piece of paper into the air?

Modded U3, simply because being able to pick where you want to place your fans is much better than having that decision made for you.

    Also 80+ CFM fans FTW.

I have a stock U3 and it works about as good as any laptop cooler I've had, other than my modded NZXT X60, which destroys it.

The Cooler Master looks like a decent design, though ...
