    Hey,

I've been looking into some Laptop backpacks lately as my Targus Miami Messenger bag isn't up to scratch anymore. It doesn't give me enough room to have both the laptop and books for Uni.

So, i am currently undecided between the two Swissgear Backpacks. The Ibex and Pegasus.

Does anyone know if both will be fine for my laptop or whether it'll be a tight squeeze? And if someone has any other recommended bags that can be bought in the UK.

    Cheers!

I have the ibex and had the 8760. It fit in the bag although it was a bit of a tight squeeze on the top just to make sure the corners were in.

    Thanks Aram.

The Pegasus is slightly smaller i think, so if you were struggling to squeeze in the laptop in the Ibex then the Pegasus will surely be worse!

Anyone else got any helpful feedback for me?

Laptop compartments for the Pegasus and Ibex should be the same I think. The only difference should be the size of the other compartment.

You could have a look at the Targus TCB001EU, though there might not be much space left for books. I just hope this isn't the case when my D900F arrives.

If not, the Targus TXL617 can be found on eBay from US sellers.

I use the Ibex for my 8760, Its nice and big and holds a ton of stuff. It fits nicely in the laptop compartment. You just gotta make sure when you are zippering it up, you tuck in the corners of the laptop.

Alright cool, i'm liking the sound of the Ibex and the fact it has a ton of room.

I've also came across the Pakuma Akara K3, can anyone comment on that?

I have both the Ibex and the Pegasus. The W870CU fits the Pegasus better as the main compartment is not as tapered at the top like the Ibex. On the Ibex, the corners of the notebook may come in contact with the zipper lining on the Ibex. The notebook will fit either bag, though a bit on the snug side. But if you cherish the beauty of your notebook's corners, get the Pegasus.
