    6 or 7 months ago i heard of the first 512GB sdcard, but i have not seen any for sale.

    Sandisk, Lexar, Kingston and PNY are the only four reliable to market with 512GB cards right now. They all hover around 200 +/- with sandisk being most expensive.

    It should recognize any SDXC card up to 2TB, even if it is SDHC reader.

    I would definitely consider one of these! Definitely not for the introductory high price but the 6 month (to 1 year) price.
