This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Scan Disk 8GB usb and sony vgnax580g not recognized

    My Sony VGN AX580G will only recognize the 1GB usb flash drive only. The Scan disk 8GB usb flash drive shows up as other device and cannot use as a flah drive. Does anyone here have any ideas how to have the 8 GB usb flash drive to be recognized. No help with this problem fro Scan Disk or Sony.
