So I've just bought a Glossy screened HP dv6568SE, and I'm noticing EVERYTHING is visible on this screen. Tons of little specs of stuff that just wiping with the cloth doesn't remove. A tiny amount of water on the provided wiping cloth seems to get rid of them, but leave little streak type marks from where it was wiped.

Bassically, I would like recommendations for a good screen cleaning solution. I've seen futureshop sells the Monster stuff for $25 a bottle, which seems a little expensive to me, but is it worth it? what brands are good?

What kind of cloth are you using?

I have found that a fine microfiber cloth with a small amount of water does the trick nicely.

Memorex makes good microfiber screen cleaning cloths. Really cheap too.

I believe its a microfiber, it's whatever HP supplied with the laptop.

But you're bassically saying its not worth paying for the specialty sprays?

Microfiber + Water is the best combo. Chemicals can sometimes damage electronics so be weary.

Never use any solvent, they dry, yellow, and eventually crack the plastics. Some people say a very dilute, simple soap solution works well. I use pixel clean.
