    Hi,
I was looking for a screen protector to protect my 17" laptop screen from scratches, fingerprints, etc and came across the following article ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=25517) Someone mentioned from their experience that the screen protector mentioned wasn't very good (pics up a lot of dust) and suggested products from www.purplemoo.com instead. What do you use to protect your screen / what would you recommend?

I really do not see the need for one. It's like buying an expensive leather sofa and covering it up with a cloth so that you can't enjoy the smooth texture. Just wipe your laptop with a microfibre cloth regularly.

I agree. Wipe it with a microfiber cloth and don't let people put their grubby fingers all over it.

Anyone who starts poking at my LCDs is not my friend for very much longer.

How about protecting it form scratches?
