I've got the ASUS 1000HE and I would like to see it last as long as it can. I was looking into getting a screen cover and possibly an outer skin for it. I've purchased screen covers for other items and know that some screen covers are great and some are junk. And I have no idea about the outer skin applications. Any rec's?

    Thanks!

Try "SkinIt." They might have something that will work for you.

As for a screen cover, I suggest you try to find the Zagg "Invisibleshield." I have one for my iPod touch, and it is fantastic. I can't imagine how awesome it would be on a laptop. I will be buying one when they come out with one for the HP DV7t-2000. I don't know if they have one for your laptop, but it is worth a shot.

I have included some links to the websites:

    Zagg: http://www.zagg.com/
    SkinIt: http://www.skinit.com/index.php

    Hope this helps!

    screen covers:
    buyviewguard.com

    outside:
    bestskinsever.com
    or invisibleshield.com

Bestskinsever(BSE) & InvisibleShield(IS) is said to be the same material, but IS backs their product with a lifetime guarantee (you pay shipping to return and get for a new skin), more expensive.... BSE doesn't have the guarantee, but it's cheaper (you can email then to get a large uncut skin for <$25... cut it for all your devices/anything you want )
