    Sd Card Reader

    Mine is a DELL INSPIRON 9300. Has a built in SD CARD READER. The problem is that WHEN I INSERT THE CARD in order to see the Pics. from my Camera, the compurer does not open the DRIVE. Please help me to solve this problem. Thanks

    Keep it in your camera and plug your camera into the computer. If it's a bigger SDHC and you have an older computer, it's probably not going to read the card.

    Writing in capitals doesn't help.
    No details don't help either.

    Doesn't open the drive?
    Do you mean "Autoplay" or do you mean you can't see it in your "My Computer" ?

    Also:
    Specs - try the device manager.

    It is probably a SD card reader and a SDHC card. For $15 or less you can get a USB card reader that will read both. Of course, a Dell 9300 might be USB 1.1 rather than USB 2.0 ....
