    Which would you rather pick:

    -Western Digital 160 GB internal desktop hard drive

    OR

    -Seagate 160 GB internal desktop hard drive

    I think seagate produce less noise. and they have command queing (not sure if western digital offers that too now!)

    If you go with seagate I think their newest line has the designation 7200.8 (older one is .7)

    but I have to admit WD have been good to me for the past 5 years ... never had a failure :)

    (IF) the price is the same, Seagate all the way dude........ why? because it is known as more reliable and less noise... I got one(seagate) and it's really quiet compared to the other one(WD) but that maybe because it's old.. but I guess I liked seagate a bit more after that maybe because personal opinion or maybe it is better.. I see it like HOnda and Accura xP :) :D lol

    yea...that's the 1 i was looking at...lol...last week they had the western digital 1 for the same price and same size and RPM too..i'll see if i can get it soon or not :D
