    Hello guys,

I'm having to get myself a second sound card for my M570RU because I want to use my laptop for VirtualDJ and I need one for output and one for queueing. Any recommendations?

So far I'm thinking about getting the ExpressCard/54 version of the Creative X-Fi Extreme -- use that one for main out, and use the builtin Realtek for my queue headphones.

    Anyone tried this card out?

So are you saying you want to use both your soundcards at the same time? That doesnt work - once you plug in the Creative it takes over the sound. Do you need a card with 2 lines out or do you want to be running 2 different sound applications?

Right, you can not have 2 sound cards going on at once.

That can't be true, my software explicitly supports 2 sound cards at once.

You can try it, but when i plug in my usb external sound card it wont work until i disable the onboard audio and the onboard wont work until i disable the external card...only one at a time.

    whats your DJ setup?

u dont need extra sound card if u doing DJing at home..

buy a Stereo splitter like me..

and u can SET it in Virtuaj DJ settings..

go to config> Soundcard... and click on the second image...which is for a Stereo splitter setup

u can enjoy Headphones + Speakers ... live mixing .

Why don't you get one of these USB mixing box? Companies like MAudio makes many these boxes.

Don't want to do stereo splitting, as I play on a large PA and I want stereo >.<

I got a X-Fi and it's working great in parallel with the builtin Realtek HD. So it IS possible. Awesome :D
