I am planning to build a desktop gaming machine but due to space constraint, I would try to avoid using a monitor if I can. Is there any hardware that would let me send signal from my desktop video card to my laptop monitor? I don't want any picture degradation.

the only way I could think of would be a usb/expresscard tv tuner and use the video inputs.

    Edit:
    This sounds good

Remote desktop with lan. It can take advantage of directX accerlation, full AERO, play 1080P videos/games..etc, bring over your audio/video and do many other things.
