I'm not really familiar with this brand. I know it's famous though, just not around here in Asia. But, I like it because I'm looking for good gaming headphones and this one falls well below my budget. It has always been a practice of mine to consult notebook review before buying anything related to notebooks. Anyone who can recognize this model, is free of giving his own opinion. I'd love to hear what the experts have to say.

    Fantastic headphones. period.

If you want surround sound headphones though take a look at the options from razer and zalman.

That's my problem. We have all razer producst here in thailand except for their headphones. And zalman is nowhere to be found here. I'll keep looking for those famous Razer headphones. I forgot its name. But if I don't find it, I'll go with the Sennheiser. Does the surround sound Razer really sound a lot better?? I heard the Senheisser PC 150 offers really great bass.

I own the Sennheiser PC150s, and they are an excellent value. The mic is crystal clear. The bass is 'feelable' and is accurate, but these aren't the greatest bass-pumping headphones. Sound quality is crystal clear.

How much are you willing to spend? There is also the Sennheiser PC160s, which are a step up from the PC150s and have better bass.

My friend has the PC150 and it feels great on the ears even after a long period of time.

I don't have the headphones you are inquiring about a quick look at Amazon.com shows that they get 4 out of 5 stars from 119 reviews. That's enough to make me buy them. Click here to visit the product page and read the reviews.

As a side note, I do have the Sennheiser PX100 that I use for my iPod. They were very affordable and are some of the best headphones I have ever used. Sennheiser makes some high quality headphones.

Are these headphones good for skype or are they too overkill for skype?

My frd got me this really cheap logitech talking headset (hook around the ears) and they hurt after like 1 hour of usage.

Are the Sennheiser really heavy? How long is the cable? (I run around a lot)

Run around a lot??? While gaming? Well that won't be a problem for me coz I just sit tight while gaming.
Anyway, how big is the price difference between the 150 and 160 model? I think I'm willing to pay the higher price of the 160 but my problem is, I'm not sure if we have that here in Thailand. I'll try to look for it though. I'm a fan of excellent BASS.

I suggest you look for wireless headphones. The bluetooth ones. They're definitely more expensive but you can run wherever you want while wearing it. They sell really good ones from sony.

Oh. For skype? I'd suggest the same. Go for wireless. You can do just about anything while "skyping". ---> is there such a term??

Yup...I think "skyping" is a new verb... ;)

BTW, I agree wireless is the only way to fly. I am one of those who cringes at the thought of attaching ANYTHING with wires/cables to my laptops. It feels kinda claustrophopic and restraining. I guess it's just how I am....wired....???? :D
