Anyone had any experience with this particular gaming mouse?

I've never heard of it. :p

I looked it up on the Sharkoon website (never heard of them, either). It looks remarkably similar to the Razer DeathAdder. The thumb buttons seem unnaturally high, though, and according to the specs, it's limited to 500Hz polling, it's response varies between 3 and 16ms, which is pretty huge. Even your average office mouse gets 8ms, and just about every other wired gaming mouse can do 1ms.

If you like the shape of this mouse, you may want to consider the Razer DeathAdder. Button placement seems a bit more natural, DPI difference is negligible (3,500 vs. 3,600), and the only thing the DeathAdder seems to lack is the adjustable weights.

I do indeed have a deathadder already, but I saw this mouse on some other tech site can't remember which and didn't know a darn thing about it so I looked it up.

I would assume the response time and polling is adjustable? Response time I can see making a large difference but really am I going to notice the difference between 500hz polling and 1000hz polling? Playing with both settings on my deathadder I can't seem to make either make much of a difference. Then again maybe I'm just not an insanely frenetic clicker lol :)

Polling rate and response time are directly tied into each other. 1,000Hz polling = 1ms response. 500Hz = 2ms, 125Hz = 8ms, and so on. Between 500 and 1,000 it's not such a huge deal, but the minimum response of 3ms isn't great.
