I have a 15 inch Grey "Shinza" Elecom Zeroshock sleeve for my Asus W3V notebook. I have the 2nd version which is supposed to have more dense foam.

The problem is the seams are ripping apart and you can see the inside, I only had this for 2.5 months. Given Shinza's poor service I doubt this even has warranty.

Does anyone else have this experience?

Just throw money at the problem, that will fix it!!

Get one of those Authentic Hand-made Japanese Kimono sleeves... I want want one soooo much... But they're a bit expensive 50,000 Yen ($430.00 USD) for the outter bag and 40,000 Yen ($343.70 USD) for the inner bag, and the accessory bag to hold cables and such is 17,000 Yen ($146.00 USD).. Or you can get all 3, and save a bit for 107,000 Yen ($919.00 US Dollars). They say they don't ship to the U.S. but if you send them an e-mail and beg, they'll ship it to you with free shipping!!! Yes, I did beg and was going to get one, until they told me the prices..

    And yes, they do exist:

    Wow old thread.

If you have a 14inch laptop try buying a bag off of any W3V or Z63A owner. Awesome bag.

    I like the booq bags.

I'm kinda still looking for a bag to replace the bag that came with my Z70Va.

    Cheers,
    Mike

If you are looking for a really excellent bag, I really suggest taking a look at the WaterField bags I mentioned in my previous post - www.sfbags.com. They are expensive, yes [my bag + sleeve combo retailed almost $300], but much better than anything else I have ever seen or used, including booq.

Their sleeves, with the strap and accessories bag, should be under $100, great protection and durability.
