Just bought the Logitech M950, here's a short review.

The overall picture of the mouse, looks very sleek.

The size of the mouse, fits very nicely, I thought it's too big at first.

The back of the mouse, uses an AA battery, the original battery given is rechargeable, a full AA battery is said to be able to last 3 months, after using for 2 days, my battery bar is still full so it's probably true.

Comes with a miniUSB for charging the battery or direct power.

The weight of the mouse without battery is like a Razer Deathadder, with battery it's a bit heavier, though gives a solid feeling. The feel is very good and comfortable, though I personally like the MX1100 better, there is a gap in between the thumb and pointer finger, making it not as comfortable as the MX1100, though it could be just a matter of getting used to. The MX1100 has too big of a receiver though which is pity.

The max DPI is 1.5k, my previous razer diamond back 3G has 1.8k DPI, so I'm rather used to it, 1.5k DPI is quite good for a wireless mouse though.

For the response time, yes, I can still feel a bit of lag, but it's alot better than other wireless mouse I've used, and personally I'm quite sensitive to such to begin with.

I love the scrolling on this mouse as well, the button underneath the scrolling wheel can swap between the 2 scrolling modes, the smooth scrolling mode is very comfortable for scrolling through long documents, while the accurate scrolling mode, like those on normal mouse is for usual scrolling, but the feel is a lot better than the diamondback I used to have.

The scrolling wheel, when pressed down, changes between the 2 DPI settings you can store.

The "hidden" thumb button activates the windows switcher to switch between tasks.

The mouse buttons are all customizable, not a big deal though.

As for conclusion, the mouse is a very comfortable wireless mouse with micro receiver, it's on the same class as the razer mamba for wireless, though in the past few years I've grown to like professional designs better than those gamer looking designs so mamba is out for me.

Oh, yes, it runs on glass, though personally I don't find it a big deal. Though it does move a lot better without a mouse pad compared to my diamond back and deathadder.

Nice "short" review and pic's you provided! :)
Logitech has some very nice branded mice!

So your liking the Hyperfast scrolling on it? I have it on my Logitech M555b, and it's pretty nice!

Yes, the Hyperfast scrolling feels very smooth, even in the non-hyperfast scrolling mode, the metallic feedback feels nicer than my razer mice.

It's a second hand but barely used, bought for around 80 dollars.

I bought Performance MX last week. I feel it's so heavy specially with battery :(

So Marathon M705 should be better choice.

the best feature(besides the nano-receiver) is the 'desktop' button. very ingenius to put a button right there.
