Well, i don't overclock, nor do i really have a temp problem.
And as for this laptop, it will only be here for like 6 months (ill get another then, but still)
I'm just having a hard time justifying $60 for something i don't really *need*
Sway me either way![]()

If you are refering to your Compal which you will be selling, no. It sounds like you have no need for a cooler. If you still want to do something, do what I did use four caps to elevate the laptop up.
-
i use dvd boxes to lift it
-
That should be good enough, I mean aren't you selling it soon?
-
well yes, but it's not like i'm not getting another laptop xD
My worries arn't this laptop overheating, it's just in general should i have one for my laptops in general i guess... because i never really had a need for them, but they can't hurt, so i'm having issue justifying
-
You might buy a gaming desktop one day?
-
nope, since i sold my desktop, i'm done with them, i on;y build for others now
haha, you got told
(jk)
-
I meant gaming laptop, lol.
-
the most i'd ever get would be 15.4 in with the equivalent of a 9800m GS or 4850
-
Then you'll need a cooler, there justified
-
note: see pulling away from gaming thread in OT
hahaha
i'm so complex
-
Umm, 8600M GT used to be on gaming laptops, and they once had to use coolers?
-
was 8600 really gaming? i thought it was mid range (i guess mid range could = gaming)
Regardless, Foxtrot, make up my mind for me xD -
If you want it, buy it, just make sure you have the money and it's not something lying in a corner months later and you regretting buying it.
-
lol, that's my problem, i have the money, and it will be used, but i really don't *need* one, so i'm not sure...
I hate making up my mind on stuff
-
Then, buy it if you have the money and will use it.
Should i get a cooler?
