    Well, i don't overclock, nor do i really have a temp problem.
    And as for this laptop, it will only be here for like 6 months (ill get another then, but still)

    I'm just having a hard time justifying $60 for something i don't really *need*

    Sway me either way :)

    If you are refering to your Compal which you will be selling, no. It sounds like you have no need for a cooler. If you still want to do something, do what I did use four caps to elevate the laptop up.

    well yes, but it's not like i'm not getting another laptop xD
    My worries arn't this laptop overheating, it's just in general should i have one for my laptops in general i guess... because i never really had a need for them, but they can't hurt, so i'm having issue justifying :p

    nope, since i sold my desktop, i'm done with them, i on;y build for others now :p

    the most i'd ever get would be 15.4 in with the equivalent of a 9800m GS or 4850

    Umm, 8600M GT used to be on gaming laptops, and they once had to use coolers?

    was 8600 really gaming? i thought it was mid range (i guess mid range could = gaming)

    Regardless, Foxtrot, make up my mind for me xD

    If you want it, buy it, just make sure you have the money and it's not something lying in a corner months later and you regretting buying it.
