I know most people would automatically say the Deathadder but I have rather larger hands and have felt the Sidewinder in my hand and it fits really nicely. But have yet to feel the Deathadder, I am afraid it might be too small.

Please give me your opinions on each of these mice.

Its hard to say which "mouse is better". I would say, if you've had a chance to test one of them out, find a way to test the other one out. Maybe buy a death adder. If you like it, you've got yourself a nice mouse. If you don't, send it back, and you already know you like the sidewinder.

That is, of course, if you have no way of testing them out somewhere else.

i have fairly chunky hands and i love the sidewinder. plus the thumb buttons are in a much better position than the razer mice. (due to chunky hands i guess)

If u Feel Sidewinder is better then dont buy DeathAdder.

DeathAdder is anyway a High Performance mouse... Not all games need that level of performance.

Sidewinder on the other hand is comfortable & has more features.

Do buy Sidewinder if u like it.

    Dont go with the Crowd.

    Thanks for the feeback guys.

The only thing that still worries me about the Sidewinder is how big it is and I've heard it doesn't really slide as easily in comparison to the Deathadder. And due to its size, your arm/hand can get tired after a while.

I have both and prefer the Sidewinder for the very reason you mention. It just fits better in larger hands. The Deathadder is nice but my hand cramps after a long gaming session.

The Sidewinder has 3 sets of different mouse feet (for glide preference). I use the slickest on an Everglide mousepad and it's like a mouse on ice with ice skates. ;)

It also has customizable weights. I've got the light weights in their and the weight is very similar to the Deathadder

But the Deathadder is fun to look at!

I went with the Deathadder. It's been a bit tough getting used to it but that's mostly just because my first mouse was so small I had to use a claw grip and now I have to get used to using a 3/4's palm grip. I really like it tho.

I would definitely say Deathadder > Sidewinder.

Hi, I have a DeathAdder and compared to the IntelliMouse Explorer (my previous mouse) it's wider and it doesn't lend itself to being held "claw" very easily (i.e. it's pretty big).

That being said, I have medium-largish hands and the DeathAdder feels incredibly comfortable, even after several hours; it's just really natural and seems to fill up my palm's space.

    Good Luck with your decision

Tight competition between Deathadder & G5.

Sidewinder is not a competition though.
