Hello all,
I am a die hard fanatic of the Razer copperhead mouse. It's hands down the best mouse I've ever used. I've had like three of them now.
Question: Are there any updated Razer mice that have the same sort of profile? It irks me to have to find copperheads, and to see that they're still often close to the same price as they used to be brand new, and often you can only find them used.
It'd be great if someone could point me in the direction of a more up to date mouse that has close to the same profile. I tried a deathadder and just couldn't get used to the grip. I also tried to go logitech and didn't like it much either.

I also have a Copperhead and a lot of other Razer mice (see sig). I would say that the Naga is the closest you can get with razers current mouse setup.

I'm not a huge fan of all those buttons on the side. It seems to me like half of them wouldn't even be usable without serious hand repositioning, defeating the point of even having them there.

I never use the buttons on the side. I bought the mouse because I found it very comfortable to hold.
Another mouse that is almost like the Copperhead is the Razer Tron mouse. I do not have any personal experience with the Tron mouse though. -
I wish more places had a wider variety of these in stock, in person. The only place near me that really carries them is Best Buy and their selection is pretty limited. Last I checked they had like fifteen death adders and maybe one other model.

i think your problem here is you got too used to the copperhead and do not have the patience to get used to other mouse. The copperhead imo is really uncomfortable, and no where near to the best mouse in terms of specs and build quality (judging that you've had used 3 of them).
My advice, buy a good ergonomic mouse, eg. Deathadder. And slowly get use to it, i promise you will eventually. Unless you can find another copperhead, i doubt there is any other mouse made like it. -
I used a death adder for six months. I never liked it as much as the copperhead. Not even close competition. I didn't like the grip of the death adder at all...like you say you don't like the copperhead, I don't like the death adder. Just personal prefernce that's all
When I say I've had three copperheads....I still have two of them and they work perfectly (though one of them needs new feet). Only reason I don't have three is because I sold one a while back because I realized having three of the same exact working mouse was silly. That's when they were still widely available.
Similar to copperhead..
