Got an e-mail about these new cases and decided to take a look. Few days later of searching for a case for my new Macbook Pro 13 I decided on the Slappa Hardbody PRO "Carbon Elektra". They were supposed to ship on November 10th, but I guess they are arriving at 8am in their warehouse tomorrow. I cannot wait to get this item as I have anxiously been waiting to get a good case for my laptop. It uses some of the same technology used in their other case that was reviewed on here.

Some of the other reviews can be found:

I'll definitely post a review once I get my hands on the case.

I read the original review that was posted on here and that case looks sick. I prefer messenger style bags myself, but any case that can withstand lighter fluid & a match is a winner no matter what! :D

Got one of Slappa's CD cases though (the Hardbody Pro I think) and judging by the quality of construction/materials used, I think you'll be getting a real winner there.

hmm nbr did the fire test on the original model with putting lighter fluid on it.

seems thats not a good test you can put lighter fluid on your own body and light it without getting burned to a certain extent.

Putting it IN a fire would be the proper test.
