I am not sure if this should go in the notebook review section or not... mods please move the thread if it is not in the correct section.

I ordered the slappa velocity spyder backpack directly from their site (slappa.com) for $80. They list it at $89 but if you use coupon code "gadgetmadness" you get 5% off. Also the shipping was free and I placed the order on Thursday afternoon, they shipped it on Friday and i got it on Saturday! basically free 1 day shipping! :D

The first thing i noticed when I opened the box was the accessories that came with it. A mini ipod cover and 2 neojackets (for portable devices like PSP, etc...) and a car sunshade with the slappa logo on it!!!!!!!!!

Here are some more close up pictures of the accessories (note the Atlanta Hawks logo on them  dunno if that is standard or not but i live in Atlanta so that was pretty cool hehe)

Ipod Mini Case (I don't have an ipod but who cares :D if its free, I'll take it!)

Oh yeah there's also this bag that came with it

    and finally, the sexy backpack!

    and the bottom :D

All of the pics can be seen here (pictures of the inside and pockets and the bottom)

The inside has 2 compartments, the rear one which has a holder for your laptop and another one which can be used for books/notebooks. The front compartment that can be taken off (the one with the single zipper) has space inside for a cellphone and another electronic device, 2 pens, and it also has a pocket with a zipper (look at the pictures on my flickr account) The inside is made of really soft cloth material. The outside of the backpack is made of really hard and durable, yet flexible material and has a lot of rubber to protect your laptop! Overall I like it a lot.

BTW those pictures make the inside material look kind of fuzzy, which it really isn't. I will try to take some more pics with in better lightning conditions.

The only thing that was bad was the little rubber vacuum holders for the car sunshade were like bent/defective and wouldn't stick to my car windshield, but that's nothing major really, I can buy a pair of those at walmart or target for $1 and considering I didn't even expect to get any of those accessories, I am lucky to have them! :D

If you have any questions or would like pictures of specific areas, let me know!

Can you do a wet test? I'm tired of using my rainjacket for my bag instead of for myself, and would like a truly rainproof pack.

yeah its water proof, the water just kind of slides off the surface and if you wipe it with a towel its as good as new
