    Hi all,

I'm shopping for a new messenger bag for my 6910p that's coming monday. Can anyone recommend a thin one for me? Price isn't that important, I'm just looking for one that's good quality and thin. so far I found two that I like.

I use this for my T60
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...rgus&lp=14&type=product&cp=1&id=1142298814826

It is about as thick as a slip case, doesn't have much room for anything else other than your power adapter, a mouse, and some small things (has a pen organizer / card holder in the front pocket). It may not have the ruggedness of other Targus bags, but I like it due to its small size, and has decent enough padding to my liking.

I found a hotizontal one. Now I just wish it was smaller to fit my 14.1 widescreen...

look at www.tombihn.com. you can choose a bag and then get a sleeve (brain cell) that fits your laptop that fastens inside the bag.

I like the neoprene sleeves and shuttles from Case Logic.

I remember seeing those @ Fry's the other day - the fact that they're reversible is definitely an interesting selling point - two different colors "depending upon your mood" i guess. There's also the nonreversible model that has the external "dual pass pocket" (has zippers on both sides - i have no idea why - symmetry i guess?)

I went ahead and bought the Victorinox Eiffel Slim-Line. Hopefully the veritical design won't bother me too much. After looking at this bag, the other ones I listed looked pretty bad.

    Nice Choice!

I looked at some victorinox bags in bags & baggage last week. Great quality stuff. The backpack I saw came with their cs2 (removeable hard sided sleeve with "cross strap" suspension at the bottom), but was like $250 for the system. The Eiffel is kind of a super sleeve in and of itself. Plus I wouldn't recommend the cs2 anyways because I didn't like how the strap rings were on the inside (= scratches).

Yours looks very minimal and solid, just enough space for accessories. We expect a full report with pics when it comes.

    Congrats!
