I am looking to buy a small Bluetooth mouse, nothing fancy, three button with scroll wheel. I'd like it to be no bigger than the Logitech Anywhere MX mouse. It seems that there aren't many options out there with bluetooth, at least with small form factor. I'd like physical buttons, none of the touch mice. I'm using a mouse to AVOID a touchpad, not extend it. :p

From basic mouse: Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 to the gaming end: Razer Orochi 2013.

I've had the MS mouse for ages and similar corded notebook mouse before that.
I've been looking at the Razer with interest but I haven't gotten it yet.

Microsoft bluetooth mouse 5000 looks nice. Wonder why they stopped making it? Do you have the dimensions and is it approx same size as the Logitech Anywhere MX mouse?

I wish Logitech made more bluetooth mice. I'm really surprised Logitech hasn't worked with some of the major OEM's to get their "darkfield" tech installed as part of laptops. I'd pay extra for that feature instead of wasting a USB port just for their adapter.

The Logitech m555b is probably the best one they have made to date.

The Orochi is terrible when using it over Bluetooth but great only plugged in.

This isn't the first time you have mentioned it, but what exactly are you talking about? Isn't Logitech's "darkfield" just their name for an Avago laser sensor? You are talking about their "Unifying" receiver, right? I actually feel like cracking open my laptop and soldering to one of the USB ports.

Yes, sorry unifying reciever. I've considered doing that. Disassemble the receiver too, and solder it inside the laptop. Shouldn't be too hard as long as you match up the pins. If you could remove the part of the PCB from the USB plug even, because that wouldn't be necessary either, should be small enough not to create an issue. I'll have to order a couple dongles and see what I can do.

There's the Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition: It's BT, and the only touch bit is the scroll surface - which does have tactile feedback.
Not a great primary mouse, but fits in all sorts of places a normal mouse wouldnt.
