I'm looking for a really small USB flash drive to complement my Samsung Series 9 ( main thread here). You can see how thin this notebook is, and some thicker flash drives will not fit. I'm also limited to how big the flash drive's width can be, because it'll interfere with the power plug since the ports location has such limited space.

I've narrowed it down to a few flash drives, but it's hard for me to decide which one to get because manufacturers don't post much specs for flash drives. Most important would probably be speed vs size. If anyone can shed some light on these, or can recommend some other ones, then I'm all ears.

    Verbatim Tuff 'n' Tiny 97168

    Thanks in advance!

don't buy those super super tiny ones without the usb metal part. they are very fragile and you will eventually screw the usb port. they should be banned -.-
I would only consider the sandisk cruzer, the hp v165 and the verbantim store 'n' stay.

But why do you want a usb drive? get an micro SD reader.

Can you find this one? Not only is the cross section small (the size of a USB plug), it is also the fastest USB 2.0 flash drive in my collection.

The other option is to buy a short (eg 4") USB male-female cable so you can plug in anything. It also reduces the risk of damage to the port (which is fixed directly to the NP900X3B's board).
