I've been googling around for a super tiny USB 3.0 flash drive to leave plugged in all the time on my ultrabook. I'd love to find something as small as the Sandisk Cruzer Fit series (unfortunately USB 2.0) and preferably 32GB+.

I've seen the apacer AH152 that claims to be the smallest, however, it isn't as small as the cruzer fit.

I've also seen the PQI 819V (also claiming to be the smallest, but seems bigger than the apacer)

I'm sure someone will suggest it so I will say upfront that my SD slot is cut shallow so that the card sticks out more than half of the SD length and even with class 10+ cards, they don't get as fast as USB 3.0 speeds.

    Any suggestions?

PS, I attempted to search the site and didn't come up with anything.

I've looked for small usb 3.0 drives too, and I can't say I have had much luck. Almost any type of drive of drive is available with usb 2.0, but there is a much, much smaller collection of usb 3.0 drives out there.

I've been looking for microsd usb3.0 readers. those are very small but I can't find any usb 3.0. they are either full size SD usb3.0 or microsd usb2.0.
imo you won'f find smaller then that apacer.

All I know is unless it has a really solid loop for putting on a keyring, it will get lost. I lost a couple cheap USB thumb drives because they just broke off my keychain. I never have any sensitive data on it, just a bunch of freeware apps and some iso's (useless without key anyhow) and some form of bootable linux.

The PQI 821V is advertised as a "zero step" flash drive. It is 3.0 and a successor to the pqi mentioned above. It is small and looks nice. I just can't find where to buy one. Looks like a great drive though. The website also cites a lifetime warranty.

    Hello,

    A very thin usb 3.0 is available : I-O Data's U3-CPSL.

    You can buy it here.

    14,5 x 24 x 7,5 mm VS 22 x 15 x 7 mm for the Cruzer Fit.

    Regards.
