    Hello everyone,

Recently I have noticed that my Fujitsu hard drive gets extremely got during load. I made a topic about this in the hardware section of this forum, and I was recommended by a few people to get a notebook cooler. I was wondering what would be the most efficient cooler for my notebook, and for your convenience, I have attached an image of the underside of my notebook.

    Thank you for the help.

EDIT: Fixed up the picture for you.

Would be nice to know where the hdd actually is, plus, which is the front and which is the back. (The battery isn't always at the back for notebooks.)

The bottom of the picture is the back, and the HDD is located in the panel in the top left of the picture. BTW, the panel has vents, but they are just out of the view of the picture, in the top.

    But where? :p

Then again which ever side, the Notepal Infinite should work. No it isn't because I own it, but because the air flow covers the sides (top and bottom) much better than the center. Which should aid you main cooling system and hdd. But the ram will be left out. My 8510p has a similar vent/part placement with the main cooling at one of the top corners and HDD down on the front corner and ram at the center.

Click my sig and you should be able to find it. (leads to another NBR thread)

    I'll edit the picture.

I'll look into prices and stuff over. It looks like a really good cooler.

But I heard that the fan on the Zalman is rather lackluster.

Not sure what you mean by lackluster...it has an adjustable wheel which, at full speed, becomes quite annoying it's spinning fast = loud.

I've always looked at a cooler as a supplement to the notebook's cooling system...the nc2000 has more than done the job for my xps1710, macbook pro unibody, and now the M15x (which doesn't really need a cooler, but I like keeping the vents clear when it's on my lap).

I have heard a lot of people say that the fan on the NC2000 isn't that great...

I have looked into the Cryo LX, and I don't think that would be suitable as the vents on it wouldn't provide sufficient cooling to my hard drive.

I'm looking to get the Thermaltake one that was first recommended, it seems have the best vent layout in relation to my laptop.

Sorry people for bringing this back from the dead, but I just saw the Enermax Aeolus CP001-G, and that looks rather nice. Was wondering if anybody had any experience, and whether it's good or not.

Looks like similar models got mediocre reviews on newegg. It looks like a good design though, and the price is right.

btw, I didn't see any temps. How hot is it getting? Have you checked S.M.A.R.T? or defragmented?

Also, I have a Zalman NC-2000, and am very happy with it. The fans aren't uber powerful, no, but it shaves off about 15c when I remove the bottom panel. Took it from 89c while gaming down to 75c. Not sure about how well it will cool with the bottom panel on, though.

    Interesting...

The hard drive is getting up to 54C, just one away from it's recommended maximum temperature.

    GPU - 65C
    CPU - 60C
