    Hi, I'm a UK buyer and was wondering if there's any solar charger for Asus W3V out there....


    Any help is apprechiated!

    I doubt a solar charger would work well even here in sunny CA. Besides the fact that it's probably not a good idea to leave a computer or a battery out in the sun since heat is bad for batteries and electronics.

    All I need is a solar charger, the reason I want one, where I am situated in acordance with the sunlight hours or for whatever other reason is undisclosed information.

    Solar power is the future, and it does work, its just there are no Asus W3V solar chargers which is a shame.

    Just out of curiosity do you know what notebook models do have solar chargers? This is the first I've heard of them being made for notebooks.
    And yes I agree solar power is the future, but it's just not very practical now since you need like huge panels on your roof which still don't provide completely enough power for a normal household's needs.
