Alright, sorry for my lack of a proper word but I'm not english.

I'm a student looking for a new laptop, and as with all students living in Norway, I can hardly afford milk let alone the laptop I want.

All the computers within my budget has a glossy screen (I absolutely hate it). My problem with this is that my UNI is a very bright place, taking in ALOT of natural sunligt (modern building, lot's of glass etc).

The only one which seems to fit somewhat in to my needs is the Acer TimelineX 3820TG but all the reviews I read states that the screen is REALLY glossy and users should avoid using this in bright enviorments or outside.

So my question; Is there some kind of accessory that turns glossy screens into matte (or less glossy atleast) without making the screen impossible to work with (ie major decrease in contrast/colour/brightness)?

I dont even know what to search for in my own language and I haven't had any luck yet so I figured I'd ask you guys.

    Thanks in advance
    Nick

Keep in mind that if you get a screen protector, while you do indeed get no/ less gloss, you'll get ALOT of distortion... I'd recommend any type of screen protector that you can buy... I think amazon has some Lexar ones that are very good. Check em out.
