    Hi,
I recently purchased the Sony Vaio SZ series laptop and was looking for a good durable sleeve for it. I'll be using it for school so I would normally toss it with a bunch of textbooks in my backpack. And I don't own a laptop backpack.

Any recommendations on which sleeve would be best.

    Thank you.

Well, I've gone over the feedbacks, but I am still undecisive since I'm not sure if it will withstand the pressure of the books, minimal as it may be.

I've emailed shinza, maker of Zeroshock laptop sleeve if they had any sleeves for 13.3" laptops. Their response was that due to many requests they are planning on bringing 13 inch sleeves out at the end of August. So I dont know if I should wait for that. Is it worth it?

Does anyone here owns a shinza laptop sleeve and could comment on it. That would be really helpful.

    Thanks again.

I created this thread for m1210 sleeves, but the m1210 is so big for its screen size that it's sleeves may work for the Sony SZ:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=64629

These are the m1210 dimensions (online sources, I haven't confirmed them):
    6 cell: 11.7" x 8.7" x 1.4"
    9 cell: 11.7" x 9.4" x 1.4"

Sony SZ dimensions (found this on a website, might want to check them):
    12.5" x 9.3" x 1.5"

So, the cases that are loose on the m1210 may work for the Sony SZ. So you may want to check them out.

The Dr. Mo one looks pretty reliable. I'll try looking into it more....

After a little search I found out that Dr. Mo sleeves only come in one size...12" :(

Anybody owns a OGIO backpack because I might get the Ogio Fugitive. Just needed to know a little bit more on it's quality and usefulness.

    Thanks

Whatever you do don't get Sony's sleeve that they advertise as being compatible with the SZ. I used a discount coupon to purchase it from Amazon (since it also came with a sleeve for the power brick) but it doesn't quite fit. It is VERY snug and I'm always afraid the zipper is going to scratch the edge of my notebook when closing it.
