The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Has anyone had experience with these for recording meetings and lectures?

    Also, there's a "One-Note" version, which I assume refers to MS Office One-Note. I don't see why it requires a special version though since it just uses whatever mic you have set up?

    More specifically, at the very least, it needs to be better than the built-in one on my MBP (not a very hard condition to fulfill IMO).
