    Sound system for a small room

    Hey guys,

    I'm trying to pick a sound system for my room... Thing is, its not a particularly large room, and I have neighbours both above and below me, so although I want to have a nice solid bass and rich, good sound quality (dubstep ftwwww!) I don't need anything incredibly loud.

    So basically what I'm saying is I want a good quality sound system, but it would be stupid to bust my wallet buying a system which I could then only crank up to 30% volume.

    So yeah, any advice on a sound system which:
    - Makes beautiful noises :D
    - Isn't a gigantic eyesore (it doesn't have to be apple-beautiful, but something that isnt an ugly eyesore)
    - Isn't particularly expensive.

    Emphasis on good sound quality and some nice bass sounds, also something that "fills up" the room accoustically (As you can tell I know jack about audio equipment, so that might just be a completely meaningless phrase there)
