The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Spatial View 3Dee Screen... Anyone heard of it?

    So what this thing does is it attaches to 1080p/720p 15.6" monitors and creates a 3DS/Evo 3D style stereoscopic glasses free 3D screen and using its software and your webcam tracks your eyes to make sure it is always in optimal alignment. All this for only $130.
    I would like to be Philip J. Fry yelling "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!" and buy one for my new NP9150, but as a good techie I tried to look up reviews for it. Aaand... nothing. Not a single site I've been to has had any reviews, comments, *INSERT FUNNY 3RD THING HERE*, just the same news story pretty much copypasta. Not even on Spatial View's homepage (Where they also have a 3D kit for the iPhone). So I ask you, my good people of Notebook Review, do you know anything about this besides what I already know and if so please share.
