The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Logitech z-10s vs Gigaworks t20 or t40

    Mainly for my desktop but maybe notebook too.
    both dropping under $100 of late in places.... especially the giga's.
    Don't want or need subwoofer/3rd piece.

    Any opinions here as to overall sound quailty?

    Mine will go on the back of the desk where it's dusty and I'm afraid the shiny z-10s will be in constant need of dusting.... while the gigas have screens.
    Then again... Z-10s have those nice diplays too, so I will move them forward if I get them to use Visual display.

    I don't have experience with the others, but I've been very happy with my Gigaworks T20.
