I've been looking for a decent set of budget speakers for awhile and came across these:

    Logitech x-540 $40
    http://www.buy.com/prod/logitech-x-540-speaker-system-5-1-speaker-system/q/loc/111/202985108.html

    Logitech z-5300e $70
    http://www.buy.com/prod/logitech-z-...heater-speaker-system/q/loc/111/10387930.html

My question now, is whether the $30 increase is worth it to get the 5300 speakers. After looking at reviews it seems like both are decent, especially for the price point. By no means am I an audiophile, but I'm looking for a solid surround system to play PC games, Xbox360, and Music/movies over. If anyone has another sub $100 set they can suggest as being better, feel free.

I'd go for the Z-5300s. They sound a lot better, imho. They look nicer too. :)

Thanks for the input. I too am leaning towards the z5300s after reading some more reviews on them.
