Well it is a great cooler, but not so effective on big notebooks as 17" I think.
It cools very effective at my 15.4" notebook. Harddisk temperature is down with 6 degrees Celsius and CPU with 8 degrees Celsius. It is noisy tough :(

I have one and must say nothing works better than this.
Might be a little bit noisy for some people on the high speed mode though...

Does it blow up cool air into your fan or suck in? does it prop up your laptop? i have a MSI1039 that has only 1 fan in the rear left that sucks in air and blows the hot air out of the back right

I dont know if you have seen this cooler. You placed it under your notebook, this picture shows it good: www.notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=110604

It highers your notebook and BLOWS air under the notebook. So it sucks from above and blows towords the downside of the notebook. Good cooling solutions, but noooissy!
