I'm using my laptop through my tv and it's in beside my sky plus box. My main problem is that the sky plus box grills ar eon the top and my laptop fans the bottom. I'm worried about over heating my sky plus box by putting the laptop on top. I've been putting the laptop underneath but it's far from perfect as it means lifting the sky box to turn it on.

Does anybody have any ideas such as a stacking system that they could recommend. I have a solid oak cabinet and short of drilling holes in it to add a shelf I'm pretty much out of ideas.

    Cheers

I'd also be worried about overheating your laptop. Any electronic device with ventilation grilles is going to be shunting some level of ehat. Wire baskets make a passable stacking solution, or you could just see about getting some slightly longer A/V cables and putting your laptop off to the side.
