StarTech.com Aluminum Fanless 17" Notebook Cooler
Have anybody using this product yet. Look like this product fit my laptop width, but dont' know they will cool my laptop off or not. There is no fan or power for the product... Any opinion.. !!!

A "heatsink" is pointless when the aluminum does not directly contact the thing generating the heat.
Your laptop has feet, meaning the stand will not even come into contact with your case, much less the cpu, HD or video card.
So all it's doing is propping up your laptop and maybe getting it a little more air underneath.
$55 for a prop/stand is way too much, IMHO. -

I have a passive aluminum 'notebook stand' as you call it, and although my laptop sits on it with four little rubber feet, the aluminum stand-cooler thing gets quite warm to the touch. I don't know if that equates to real world reduction of internal component temperatures or not though as I've never taken measurements.
I plan to buy one of these. http://www.koolsink.com/ for its clean looks and simplicity. But then again, I don't care if it reduces my notebook temps since mine doesn't get that hot to begin with.
