Hi guys, as above do you think this would be ok for my Compal IFL90? I am not a heavy user but I have been playing a couple of game and unless I have my laptop on my lap the machine just shuts down due to overheating. This has happened about 5 times now and I just want something that will prevent this in the future.

    All replies appreciated, thanks!!!

EDIT: The cooler is a StarTech.com USB Powered Laptop Cooler just incase, thanks.

the specs sound a bit underpowered (2.36cm fans...), but it might help that there are four of them. me personally, i'd go for something that's proven to be effective - NZXT Cryo LX, Zalman NC2000, something like that.

Cheers mate, any other suggestions. I don't always play games so I don't know if I could justify buying one of the more expensive options. I just want to make sure that the odd time I play a game the laptop doesn't just give up.

    Thanks again whizzo!
