Ok I just got my new LG screen, and I must say its awesome XD Thanks to everyone (especially phil) for helping me chose.

The only downside so far is that I can't seem to tilt the screen backwards, but thats about it. When I play cod4 I do seem to have some sort of video-playback lag, but I only tested this screen with the included VGA cable so far.

I notice that a 23 inch screen is a bit big for my 8600m gt which displays games at a max resolution of 1024*768. Hopefully my ati hd 4670 will arrive soon and will be installed without too much difficulties. This will solve my low resolution problem with most games :p

Aside from playing games, watching movies is also awesome. You can't believe how much I enjoy this screen after having used a 15 inch glossy laptop screen for 3 years.

edit: A tip for future pixmania buyers, don't pay more for the faster delivery, I chost the 3-4 days delivery (by DND) period and it was delivered after 1 day anyway. Normally I should open the package in front of the guy (as instructed by pixmania policy) but they delivered it at the neighbours. Not sure if this was by accident or an attempt to run away before i'd notice any errors :p But the screen arrived fine so overal I'm content by Pixmania's service.

Good to hear you're enjoying the screen.

I'm very surprised you can't tilt it. Maybe there's something you need to adjust first...

Nvm I just checked again and it can be tilted, I was just too carefull.

Also, I must say that 23 inch is really more than big enough. Since its such a big tn panel, I can already see some pink/red-like shine in the down corners when I'm not sitting right in front of it (this is only noticable with a light background like in this website :d).

Another thing thats noteworthy is the short power cable, I would prefer it to be 0.5 meters longer atleast. (I think its about 1 meter).

I'll give another update as soon as I get my hdmi cable.

I give this screen a score of 8/10 btw, it seems to do its job very well, especially when you consider this screen costs an average of 50€ less compared to other 23 inch full hd screens with 2ms repsonse time & a hdmi plug.

Here is a last (and probably my final) edit about my experience with my lg screen.
When i use a dark desktop background (like the ROG pic which I use as my avatar atm), I can see the background lights moving.
Its like christmas lights, with the colours becomming lighter and darker, which seems to give it some sort of 'moving' effect.

It is only in the lower part of my screen (about 1/3rd).

Is this normal? My laptop does not have this 'moving background lighting'.

    Is this with HDMI cable?

I don't think I know what you mean.

    No its with vga.
Its like there are horizontal lamps behind the lcd screen, which flicker. It seems they cannot keep 1 stable light brightnes. And because the lamps all glow darker and lighter at different rate, its like there are christmas lights behind my lcd. This is barely noticeable with a dark wallpaper, and invisible with light immages.

Could be your VGA cable. Try HDMI.

If its a CCFL (fluoro tubes) then you actually have many many tiny tubes going from left to right, or as someone once said "its a series of tubes".

Why these are flickering, thats a very interesting question. Could be badly shielded cables. Do you have dynamic contrast enabled or any other (pseudo-)picture "enhancement"?

Wow weird I thought I already posted an answer...anyway, I bought a hdmi cable and the flickering problem is gone.
It really looked like deffective ccfl backlights but it was just the vga. Phil was right again ^^
