Yeah, i'm looking for a gaming headset, out of these two only, so please don't recommend any others. Thanks for your input. So yeah, i wanted 7.1 or 5.1 surround sound, in the 100 price range, and it had to be with a usb sound card because my laptop doesn't put out anything other than crap, oh my bad, other than stereo. So yeah, i listen to some music... but the main goal of these headphones are for gaming. Call of Duty like games, FPS with lots of action... u get it.

Siberia v2 just came out, the 5h v2 has been around for quite some time. If you get the black version of the Siberia v2, it comes with the usb sound card to give you a "virtual" 7.1 surround sound. The Siberia v2 has bigger range in mic and sound freq pick up and output. The speakers on the Siberia v2 are 50mm vs the 5h v2 (~40mm), and the earpads are a faux leather as opposed to the 5h cloth which can get warm/itchy, and pick up a lot of dust and lint. Also the Siberia v2 wire management is cleaner.

Edit: I would chose the Siberia v2 over the following (at this price point)

Logitech G330: probly most comfortable, but fairly average sound at best.
Creative MKII: mixed reviews as far as sound, mic is hit or miss as it seems plasticky.
Creative Sound blaster arena usb: not sold on usb stereo sound (and usb connector is HUGE), has same mic as MKII
Alienware Tactx: basically a rebranded 5h v2, so no difference
Razer Megalodon: Usb 7.1 surround sound, poor reviews with flaky surround sound.

    worth a look at-
Logitech G35: Usb 7.1 surround sound, got a lot of great reviews

I'd definitely check out the Plantronics GameCom 777 if I were you. MSRP is $100, but from what I hear they go as low as $60.

    The G35 is nice i agree(i love Infiniti :) JK :p)

But i think its too expensive. I dont know if i could justify $100 for a headset.

That being said i really like the Siberia i especially like the "Neckband" verison. Really sleek.
