Hi, recently bought these to go with my msi stealth (also pretty new). I've hooked up to my xbox 360 and they sound great. However, when I hook them up to my msi, they only seem to work via the usb when I want them to go through the optical cable, as the sound should be better. I'm losing patience fast and wondered if anyone else who had these could share any light on what I'm doing wrong.

    Any suggestions gratefully received!

    Thanks

Hey mate, have you tried setting the optical out as your default device/default communications device in sound settings??

Give that a go, that's how I get my a50s to go through optical.

Thanks for your reply kingyr, have now sorted it. Needed to mess around with the Realtek HD Audio Manager in Control Panel but am now up and running!

    Cheers!

Ah yeah good stuff, I wasn't sure if msi used realtek so didn't bring it up. I usually use realtek audio manager to switch between outputs aswell.

    All good :)
