Can anyone recommend a decent backpack for a 17" Clevo D901c shape laptop.

    Specs:
    Must be strong/durable.
Must be water/rain resistant (I live in uk).
Must be inconspicious, no bright colours or large
logo's (I want it to look like a normal back pack and
    not a laptop bag).

Thanks in advance, any good advice will get rep!.

If only the Targus TXL617 were available to us in the UK T-T We only get the Targus TCB001EU as an option...

BTW my friend has the Swissgear Pegasus but his D901C can't fit in the notebook sleeve. May fit other 17" form laptops though.

Booq make some really good notebook backpacks as well, nice and black with no logo's and very strong and highly protective - but it would depend on your budget as well I guess.

The North Face also have a range of notebook bags that are very much just normal looking backpacks.

STM (Aussie brand) also make some decent backpacks without looking like a backpack as well.

If a backpack doesnt have a rain cover you can always just get one from a camping store - they are pretty cheap over here so I imagine it would be no different in the UK - I use a rain cover on all my bags when venturing between office and sites- vast amounts of tropical rain up here at the moment lol

    Hey.
I don't know the dimensions of your notebook, but you should've read the customer reviews :(

"I don't think the backpack is actually big enough for 17" notebooks. My Vostro 1700 notebook with 17" widescreen is to big to fit the sleeve, so 2 corners are not covered properly. Moreover in the backpack I have received zip was broken. Fortunatelly seller agreed to refund me the backpack and arranged collection of the broken backpack."

I checked the dimensions of my laptop and those of the laptop compartment in the bag and If they are correct it should fit no problem. Thanks for bringing that to my attention Drazzio your right i should've checked the reviews first :(

Your welcome. Pay attention to it next time :D I hate when I buy things that I can't use or won't fit. So the only thing I can do is to suggest and help others so they don't do the same as me xD. But unfortunately you had already ordered the bagpack before I wrote, so you were lucky this time :D
