Hey guys, I'm looking for a backpack to safely carry my 15.4inch Gx640. It needs to be a backpack, no messenger bags for me. And I need to be able to carry a few other textbooks, considering I'm going into engineering and living 15 minutes off main campus. (Woot at west campus residence :p).

Also, looks are very important to me. Backpacks are one of my favourite items. It's my style. I like backpacks as much as women like purses. Ugly army style bags will NOT cut it with me. I'm looking for an astheticly pleasing functional bag that will keep my laptop safe as well as carry other textbooks.

    Thanks in advanced!

Agree'd with Bluekornchips. Usually I'd recommend Hurleys Manzana backpack, but after it's 17" model didnt fit my M15x, I completely abandoned them as a company (sans clothing). I ordered the Orion backpack and should be here in 6 days! (I live in Churchill, MB so dell's shipping is hellafast).

    Once again thanks Blue!

If only you got the Targus laptop backpack at Bestbuy for $10 (orig. $30) couple weeks ago. Great deal if you're fine with a school-looking backpack.

Does anyone know if the regular Axio Hybrid 2.0 fits a 15.6"? I would rather have a tight fit than a 17" bag.

Well - I can tell you that Axio sizing is geared towards Macbook Pros, which are thinner than most other notebooks. The Hybrid 2.0 is designed for the 15-inch Macbook Pro, which in theory should fit most 15-inchers - but I'd check if I were you.

I should be receiving my Dell Latitude E6510 15.6" late this week.
I havent been able to find measurements of the laptop dimensions that will fit in the Axio bags.

Keep in mind guys. Any Backpack that says 17" and Macbook Pro will NOT, I repeat NOT fit a large 15.6" Laptop. I've experienced this with a 17" Hurley backpack and my M15x... Needless to say I was not impressed. But because of Bluekornchips Orion Review I've ordered that.

I ended up getting a hurly bag at TJ max. It's not as sexy as my other bag is, but when I'm not carting my lapop around, i can just use my other bag.

I think we can safely call that an exception. The M15x is practically anyone else's 18-inch notebook ;)
    (e.g. half-inch thicker, half-inch deeper,a pound heavier and only a half-inch narrower than the Dell M6500 17-inch mobile workstation!!!)
