I've ordered a Timbuk2 with red race stripe messenger bag, which IMO is one of the more stylish bags. I've ordered a Pakuma Charoka K1 prior to this as well but it got lost in the mail after 1.5 months of wait, it's very stylish as well. Took a look at Slappa Ballistix Aura but IMO it's not very stylish, looks too chunky.

Superdry bags (Haversack and actual laptop bags) are generally stylish and will hold your laptop well. The haversack bags (the canvas bags) do not have seperate compartments however, as they are more traditional messenger bags. The relatively high price may put you off though.

Well what's your budget and what kind of bag are you looking for? What other items will you carry with the bag? Give us more information.

I ordered a Timbuk2 Command from Ebags.com, they have other brands as well. Plus they have a good sale going on right now 20% off and another 20% from Bing cashback.

Also what size is your laptop? Brand/Model : )
amazon.com is a good source for reasonable bags, also :)

I'm using a Timbuk2 Command 2.0, myself. It's very well made and durable, and what really appeals is that I have almost never seen anyone with a similar bag. It might be more popular in San Francisco, but here in LA, I've only seen one other person with it.

I also use a Timbuk2 bag, this one being the Q. *Great* size; very small, but holds everything I need. Makes me very happy, and I use it when I travel.

For work and school, I also use a Waterfield Cozmo Mambo. I absolutely love how much it holds. There is another bag I want to get, from STM, which is a shoulder bag that is kind of a satchel. If I can find it, I'll post it. That one runs about $40.

Really, style only takes you so far here; it's form AND function. Telling us how big your laptop is and where you want your bag to go (work, travel, Barnes and Noble, etc) will help many people here.
