I'm looking for a stylish mouse for my laptop. I really like the look of the Razer Diamondback mouse in the blue color, but that mouse has a 7 foot cord which is just unwieldy with a laptop. So I want an optical mouse with cool looking LEDs and a short cord.

Actually, LEDs aren't essential, I also like the look of the Logitech G7 and G5, but they're a bit overkill as I don't really need a super gaming mouse. I also don't want a cordless mouse, short cord please.

Or, if it's a laptop, go cordless and get the logitech vx revolution - bigger and more manageable than the nano with lots of features and pretty good looks.

I also agree with the tie wrap idea.
You don't want a cordless mouse and you already found a corded one that you like. So get the Razer Diamondback, tie the cords and use that. And you never know when you might enjoy having a long cord (like when you're sitting back on your bad watching a movie you could use the long cord then).

I think it's a pretty good idea. Why don't you want a cordless mouse?

i just bought a logitech vx nano and it's pretty nice. i'm more of a wired guy too, but i thought i'd try a tiny wireless mouse for some reason. and i never get anything but logitech. i thought this little mouse would be too small for my huge hands, but it's actually very nice.

For wired mice, I only have Logitech brand and they typically have long cords attached. G5 all the way for price and ultimate precision and comfort! :D

Yeah I ended up just getting the diamondback, couldn't resist. The long cord is probably bound to come in handy at some point anyway, probably won't be exceedingly annoying.
