Well I want some headphones or earbuds that sound decent. I have considered Beats by Dr Dre head phone but I want more suggestions. These are mainly going to be used just to listen to music and movies on my computer and mp3 player. I want to keep my budget under $100.
I have even considered buying the knock off beats by dr dre on ebay, but i cant find any reviews.
Thanks everyone!

A good pair of headphones that can be had for under $100 (B&H Photo) are the Sennheiser HD448s. They lack a bit in bass, but the clarity is very good. Obviously, if you're looking for something with a lot of bass, then I wouldn't suggest these, but I can't suggest any others, because I don't want to give recommendations to products I've never used.

I have the Dr.Dre Beats "Tour" (the ear-bud types) and they sound AWESOME. Ive owned some high-end headphones in the past and would like to think I know something or 2 about phones, and for the price the Tours are amazing...crisp super clear highs, deep warm mids, and KILLER bass...almost head shaking...however, it never overpowers the other frequencies...Im telling you, if you can get them at a good price, you will never regret it.

Will you be traveling with these earbuds/earphones?
$100 earphones will have better quality than $100 earbuds. -
Not necessarily...Ive owned $100+ headphones...from Bose to Sony to everything in between and even then fro the price you cant be the Dre's...I mean, its just not market hype, they really are some bad- buds and headphones as well, despite their size!

what type of music you listen to can also affect your choice.
i would check out what the folks at head fi have to say. when i was shopping i lurked around there and got A LOT of information. -
After some research I think I am gonna try to pick between
1. ZaggBuds
ZAGG | ZAGGaudio - In Harmony with your Gadgets
or
2. Radius Atomic Bass
Atomic Bass Earphones :: Products :: Radius Earphones - Simply the best value in earphones -
Oh dear no....
I really hate to be 'that guy', but I've spent considerable time around Head-Fi.org, and feel like you should head over there and do a forum search before deciding on any of those. As for the guy that mentioned the 'beats by dre'-- I understand that you've compared them to Sonys and Bose, (and whatever else), but any quality headphones compared to those brands will sound miles better.
Look into Sennheiser, Beyerdynamics, Grado, Etymotic, Ultimate.Ear, and Shure. -
I have a set of Ultimate.Ear SuperFi 4s and am very happy with them. I got my pair on sale for $50 which was a great deal, not sure if it's still available now. The same model has been rebranded by Altec Lansing with different styling for a much cheaper price and is available here:

I don't know if the Beats by Dre ones are good or not, but since they are made by Monster they are instantly disqualified in my book. If you want to pay extra for pure marketing snakeoil and branding at least look at Bose. They don't sue people left and right...
I think you should look into the awesome Sennheiser 555 headphone instead. It's a great all-round headphone. I own two in fact – one for work and one for home. Amazon has it listed for about $100.

All of the Dre range that I've tried so far are actually decent - and are better tuned to consumer sound signature tastes than many of the 'approved by nerdophiles' brands, while retaining a good deal of the technical capability. They're not going to win any 'best of' awards, but they're surprisingly not bad value for what you get in most cases. It's just that their image is indeed rather 'db' as you'll find emblazoned on the latest DiddyBeats, and everyone who I think looks like a total tool on the train is invariably sporting a set of Beats. Mind you, many people actually aspire to be hipster idiots so who am I to judge.
The main problem and the reason I'd advise caution is that the Tours fit like the Ultimate Ears generic multi-drivers - and while some ears are OK with this, mine weren't. I much prefer the Shure fit. -
The Ultimate Ears Super Fi 5vi are on amazon for $60 (normally $170 according to amazon) but it's for today only

The Klipsch Image S4's are also a good pair of earphones, they cost around $80 -
Well guys I bought the ZaggBuds. They are on sale for 50% off for memorial day(the sale has actually extended now).
Orginal cost $59.99 but i got on sale for $29.99 with free shipping.
I couldnt resist for that price.
I am sure they cant be too bad.
I will try to get a review when they come in.
Suggest me some headphone/earbuds
