I have a 6 year old Jansport computer backpack that has served me faithfully every day. The zipper on the main compartment is now broken so it's time for me to get a new one. The problem is I can't find anything comparable to it.

Some of the features about it that I really like are that the latop compartment is fully enclosed, i.e. there's a separate compartment with a full flap built into one of the zippered compartments. It has four compartments, one small, one medium and two large and the entire interior is treated with some sort of rubber like coating to make it water resistant.

Have you seen something on the market that's comparable to it? There's a SwissGear Neon that looks similar but it has no waterproofing and from what I can read the zippers are not so great. Plus it is quite a bit bigger and heavier than the Jansport.

You could try to have the zipper fixed, if you can't find any thing else that you like.
